git-ubuntu: upcoming changes to imported structure

In order to fix a number of edge case import problems, I've landed
changes to the importer algorithm which change the structure of the
synthesized commits and tags. I will switch the experimental published
branches over to this new algorithm shortly.

I think this change is unlikely to affect any existing workflows. The
new structure is largely the same as the old one, except in edge cases.
The code changes to implement them are fairly significant though. It is
possible that tooling that expects specifics of the previous structure
may break.

Please let me know if you find yourself affected.
