Working with Canonical's IS team we've realised / figured out that it'd
be both possible and better to *re-deploy* autopkgtest into a new space,
get it fully working and then cut DNS names etc. over before destroying
the old deployment. This means that there's no need for a protracted
period of downtime any more.
I'll be stopping proposed-migration for a brief period while we are
actually modifying the DNS entries, so that requests stop going to the
old environment. But this will not cause very much disruption, so
there's no need for an explicit downtime window any more. When the time
comes I'll be announcing progress on #ubuntu-release.
Cheers,
