I dumped a load of appstream icon bugs into the queue. Sorry for
exploding it, but I ran out of time and bandwidth to handle them by
myself - and I'm away for a week and a day starting now.

Sponsors: please evaluate these requests carefully. They come from new
contributors who don't always understand Debian packaging, upstreams or
build systems. It is often the case that the package already ships an
icon, or the issue is fixed upstream, or whatever. It's up to you how
much effort you want to put in fixing things for the contributors, but
be gentle and bear in mind their newness so don't ask for complex
things.

For reference, see our recent announcement

  https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-devel-announce/2016-February/001169.html

...the common case boils down to: Make sure the .desktop file references
an Icon= that exists at at least 64x64 and is png or svg. Install said
icon into /usr/share/icons/hicolor/{scalable,size×size}/apps/. This
might be the icon the contributor supplied, or one that your
investigation showed was there all along.

And please *please* find some time to sponsor a few things.

Cheers,
