It's also important to note that the lifespan of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS does
go past the Python 2 expected maintenance period (end of the decade).
And as Ubuntu LTS is one of the most popular platforms for developers
to use, it strengthens the case to push for Python 2 code to port over
to Python 3.
