Hi All,
The Cloud Image team is pleased to announce that starting with 16.04
LTS, the Vagrant [1] Images [2] are now provided with other cloud image
targets. These new Vagrant Images have been reworked so that they
provide the exact same experience as you would expect on the Cloud,
including boot via Cloud-init. Vagrant images will be provided as part
of the daily builds and will be promoted to releases.
If you encounter any bugs with Cloud Images, please file them against
the livecd-rootfs package [3]. Starting with 16.04, all our cloud image
targets, for all architectures, are being build via the livecd-rootfs
package in buildds.
Thanks,
Ben
