python on arm (at least for daemons and long running processes) is very
resource intensive, so in the snappy world we are currently actively
working on removing it from the rootfs. As ted mentioned though, if an
app/service/framework wants to ship python, it can and should bundle the
interpreter into the snap in any case (even today, since python is not a
guaranteed thing to be in the rootfs).
