Malformed patch in usbredir package in Trusty

Folks,

Last June Colin updated the usbredir package for Utopic to fix a malformed
patch:

https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/usbredir/0.6-2ubuntu2

Trusty contains the exact same issue.  What would be the process to get
Trusty updated to 0.6-2ubuntu2?
