Potential Server Seed impact for 14.04: removal of OpenJDK/Tomcat7 from Ubuntu main

I am sorry, I actually misunderstood the question. But even in Universe, we
would still have upstream developers, this is not that bad. I also never
rely on release packages, since these are mostly outdated. I just download
postgresql, compile it, and usually end up with a mixture of packages
maintained by distribution, or repository, and those I pick up directly
from upstream. This also has a benefit that this environment is distro
independet, and can be easy moved form Ubuntu to Gentoo, Slackware, or even
OpenBSD.
