Well, not a complete disaster, unless you care about one of the currently 920
packages failing import. ;)

Yes, please!  I can live with the warts, bugs, and workarounds in UDD itself,
but you're stopped dead in your tracks if the package import is failing.  In
those cases, it's acceptable to trade-off accurate history for currency.  We
just need an easy process that any Ubuntu Developer can perform to kick the
importer for a particular package.

I agree that the other issues are more intractable.
