Ubuntu 13.10 should be upgraded to LTS status

Thanks Mark, I think that's as close to an "official" recommendation
as I'm going to get :-)

Welcome focuses indeed, but not much use to a migrating XP user unless
they buy new hardware (which will come with Windows 8 and they'll
stick with that). Obviously we're looking at different markets (home
vs business) but the same will apply to at least the small businesses
I've supported in the past - the only reason they'll consider Ubuntu
is because it saves them replacing the hardware when several
"perfectly good" PCs go EOL at the same time because the OS expires.
If I can get them to Ubuntu (or *buntu) at that point then new options
open up when they do replace the hardware, but if the hardware gets
upgraded first it will go Windows and the opportunity is lost.
