Hello all,
last week I set up a new autopkgtest case which covers detection,
installation, kernel module availability check, and removal of our
most common third-party drivers in Ubuntu: nvidia-current (and
-updates), fglrx (and -updates), and bcmwl-kernel-source.
https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Quantal/view/AutoPkg%20Test/job/quantal-adt-ubuntu-drivers-common/
I'm also preparing a test of virtualbox-dkms for the next upload.
Please let me know which other drivers we should add.
This nicely shows that with the last kernel upload everything is fine
on amd64, but on i386 fglrx{,-updates} fail:
https://jenkins.qa.ubuntu.com/view/Quantal/view/AutoPkg%20Test/job/quantal-adt-ubuntu-drivers-common/ARCH=i386,label=albali/3/artifact/results/dsc0t-system-stdout
I plan to have this test trigger on any kernel, gcc, and driver
upload eventually, so that we can make sure that they always work.
Thanks,
Martin
