On Haskell rebuilds

Greetings,

Some of us have noticed a rather large number of Haskell rebuilds coming
in recently. There haven't been so many over the past few days, but it
looks as if give-backs are still being issued as recently as today.

While it's very much appreciated that people are looking to help out
with this giant stack (really, I don't like doing it all on my own),
there is a new GHC upload planned for early next week (from the 7.4
series, which will bring GHCi [and a threaded runtime] to ARM) that is
going to require all of the rdepends to be rebuilt once more. This means
that all of the rebuilds which were done over the recent period will
have to be repeated — an unfortunate misplacement of human and buildd
time. :(

If people are interested in helping out then feel free to coordinate
with me either via email or on IRC and I'll gladly outline my plans if
there are any at that moment in time. Most of the actual /development/
takes place in Debian, under pkg-haskell. It's a good idea to join the
lists over there if you want to get more involved.

Cheers,
