Hello everybody,
I hope you all have seen the news about the recent Ubuntu App Developer
Showdown [1]. It has been a fantastic success! More than 140 apps have
found their way into the review queue. It is just great to see the crazy
amount of creativity and how many small niches have just been filled.
A lot of these apps will find their way into the hands of users and thus
continue to thrive and become bigger software projects.
Under the current load of incoming submissions, the app developers could
need some help getting their app reviewed to get them into Ubuntu extras
so that the community can vote on them through the Software Center
ratings. The App Review Board has put together this workflow overview to
explain how to go about reviewing apps:

Many app developers would love you for helping them out. So if you have
a bit of time to spare, join #ubuntu-arb and help reviewing the
submissions. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed, the app world has a lot
to offer to Ubuntu.
Have a great day,
Daniel
