Hello,

We recently (post-Feature Freeze) discovered that Ubuntu's ISC-DHCP
package isn't exactly up to date.

Ubuntu currently ships ISC-DHCP 4.1.1 (released in June 2010) but
upstream's latest release of the 4.1 branch is 4.1-ESV-R4 (released in
December 2011).
4.1-ESV-R4 is an Extended Support Version of ISC-DHCP, that'll be
supported until at least December 2014 and so seems ideal for an LTS.

The delta between 4.1.1 and 4.1-ESV-R4 is fairly big though apparently
entirely made of bugfixes, if you are interested, details can be found
here: https://deepthought.isc.org/article/AA-00566

I have successfully updated our packaging to work with the new
upstream, which really was just dropping and refreshing some patches.

So I'm now ready for some people to help testing it, use cases, include:
 - DHCPv4 client
 - DHCPv6 client
 - DHCPv4 relay
 - DHCPv6 relay
 - DHCPv4 server
 - DHCPv6 server

I already did an initial sanity testing of the packages as a DHCPv4
relay, as a DHCPv4 client using Network Manager and as a DHCPv4 client
using ifupdown.
I'll now be running a bunch of tests for the IPv6 side of the things
but the more people testing these the better.

Unless we discover something critical in there, I'm planning on
uploading these on Wednesday around 20:00 UTC.
Please report any issue as comment on the bug report below, that
should make tracking and fixing these easier for me.

Thanks for your help!
