Hi,

Some Ubuntu users installed packages from some PPAs, and as a result,
upgrades to oneiric fail.

Examples of such bugs are:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ruby1.8/+bug/874300
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ruby1.9.1/+bug/873698
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ruby1.9.1/+bug/874306

The PPAs seem to be:
https://launchpad.net/~pratikmsinha/+archive/ruby192+bindings
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-on-rails/+archive/ppa

They introduced alternatives in a way that is incompatible with the
alternatives management that was added to the ruby1.8 and ruby1.9.1
packages between natty and oneiric.

What's your way to deal with that?

Lucas
