xz-compression related upload failure

Hi,

just found out about trigger-rally-data failing to upload:

<https://launchpadlibrarian.net/87895494/upload_3177594_log.txt>

As far as I'm aware, xz compression was supported within dpkg prior to Lucid,
so I presume that the upgrade path from LTS to LTS is fine.

Am I missing something here?
