On particular case that occurs for the PTRACE limit is getting our
crash data from loggerhead / launchpad / U1 server processes that
hang. So I think server administrators are likely going to be quite
surprised and will need some handholding.

I don't really like the install-package-X-to-remove-the-protection
approach. Normal users can be fooled into installing signed packages,
after all.
