Hi,
The Ubuntu music store which will be available by default in rhythmbox
in lucid will default to install gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 for the users
who don't have a mp3 decoder already installed.
We would like to make sure it doesn't break mp3 playing in other desktop
softwares though, so if run lucid and do play mp3 using a gstreamer
based software (rhythmbox, totem, etc) it would be nice if could install
"gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3" and see if things still work correctly (try
playing files as usual, seeking in those, looking at the cpu usage).
If you find issues please open bugs on launchpad about those.
Thanks from the Ubuntu Desktop Team
