Ubuntu Python Snippets

Hi Everyone,

Recently I wrote a little app called Acire [1] that can be used for
browsing, running and learning from snippets of Python, helping
developers to solve problems in their own programs. Acire gets its
snippets from the python-snippets [2] which I set up to provide a
library of snippets, and Daily PPA that delivers new snippets to users.

The reason I am writing is that I am keen to build out more Ubuntu
related snippets in the python-snippets library. This could include
liblaunchpad, apport, notify-osd, application-indicators etc.

If any of you get a few minutes and want to contribute something, take a
look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PythonSnippets for how to contribute them.

Thanks!

     Jono
