>Not true. Notify-osd works great on both Xubuntu and Mythbuntu. There is compositing support in xfwm4. When turned on it operates just like it does in GNOME. I'd suspect it works as designed for UNR too.
I see it's in both mythbuntu-desktop and ubuntustudio-desktop. Thanks for point that out.
