Thanks for taking this up. I'm happy to see some standardization
attempts going on for this, so that it becomes more widely used.

That should be fine. We currently don't have any tools which parse
those, it's just for human consumption right now. Thus it's not a
problem to adapt patches over time once the format has been agreed
upon.
