The problem is that lots of people replied to him and the list. He
replied to us all personally as that is the default on these lists,
and that the -devel list is heavily moderated. It means that he's
replied with the same info lots of times and I doubt all the replies
have made the moderation queue - I know mine hasn't.

It's been a bit of a waste of time for everyone concerned.
