I woke up this morning hoping to be able to listen to some ABBA.
Unfortunately, sound no longer works in my Xubuntu. :(

Furthermore, I was hoping to avoid shipping/enabling pulseaudio with
Xubuntu. Does this now mean that pulseaudio is required?
