So, while I don't exactly mind the demotion, I spent some time using both
logwatch and logcheck (since learning about logcheck).  Logcheck is used
for "oh, this unexpected event happened!" and logwatch is used more for log
aggregation "these things happened today".  So, to that end, I'm still a
fan of logwatch, though logcheck has clear packaging advantages.
Honestly, I think neither should be in main, but that's just me.

+1 to drop from archive (rather than demote).

+1: awstats is much more useful, IMHO.
