Note also that at www.openprinting.org we are working on supplying
manufacturer-supplied printer drivers in distribution-independent LSB
packages. computer-janitor also considers these packages as cruft. So if
a user does not take care, his printer will suddenly stop to work. The
same probably happens if hardware manufacturers supply Linux drivers on
CDs coming with the hardware.
