You're welcome to bring it up elsewhere, of course, but I would suggest
that that would best be done by means of a reference to the discussion
here. While the discussion is still in its relatively early stages,
there doesn't seem to be a great deal of point in inviting non-technical
participation for what is fundamentally only of interest to developers,
other than curiosity.
Of course, non-developers are more than welcome to subscribe to
ubuntu-devel and see what we're up to, and I expect that many already
do.
