Well, opensync-0.22 is neither particularly broken nor particularly
outdated (it is the current stable version, and the version recommended
by the opensync authors for packaging by distributions currently).

It is not very well integrated and tested, though, and has its rough
edges.

Also, there is an upgrade path from 0.22 to 0.40 - a configuration
updater has recently been added to opensync-0.3x svn.
