That could be more context-sensitive than a warning on startup, in that
we could show it only if you *had* saved stuff in an about-to-be-deleted
place.

However, a confirmation alert is usually the worst possible solution to
any design problem, and here it would be worse than usual, because --
like a warning at startup -- it would be far away in time from the event
that caused it.
