Ok, here's my test case, which still worked on gutsy, but stopped working on
hardy (at least I guess, checking from an intrepid box right now). Sorry,
that it's not that minimal.
Also, I'd like to say again, that I'm not entirely sure if this is a good test
case - at least it somehow feels wrong to me in the first place to set the
file descriptors to blocking mode and then expect that it will, erm, not
block ;).
