Sorry, that's an omission in the changelog only, Matt.  The
debian/control files are in fact specifying lsb-base >= ...

Hmm, no...  What sort of comments do you mean?

I'm actually very close to having the remaining status_of_proc()
functionality accepted in Debian's lsb-base.  See:

Additionally, I created a wiki page with a step-by-step recipe for
creating such patches against other init scripts, as I think these are
pretty compact patches that new Ubuntu or Debian developers could help
with.  Perhaps if you have additional suggestions (adding comments,
etc.), you could add them to this wiki page?
