Yes, it is maintained in the ubuntu-elisp team using bzr. The packaging
is derived from the emacs-snapshot packages, which is maintained by
Romain Francoise, upstream and former maintainer in debian.

I've uploaded version 22.2 to intrepid a few days ago.
