I ask that the package linux-wlan-ng should be installed by default on
Ubuntu systems and livecds because according to the package description,
"The linux-ubuntu-modules package ships the necessary kernel modules.
This package ships utilities and integration scripts to make above cards
work seamlessly with the Ubuntu network infrastructure."
Without this package installed a user will not be able to use the
wireless device properly. For example when I use the Gutsy livecd the
prism2_usb module is loaded but Network-manager, iwconfig, etc do not
detect it. Installing the package does not work for that livecd session
because I do believe the package adds code that needs to be executed at
boot. Therefore in the interest of usability I ask that this package be
installed by default.
