hi,

as owner of a bunch of touchscreen devices that all use the evtouch
driver i started playing with generating the necessary .fdi files for
hal-input that are needed to make these devices work.
i am currently looking for other people owning evtouch devices to get
more data together and get more devices supported for intrepid. if you
own such a device and had a working setup though xorg.conf before i
would like to ask you to reply to this mail (in private if you prefer)
with an attached lshal output and the xorg.conf file that used to work
in hardy or before so we can have a collection of .fdi files shipped in
intrepid to cover as many touchscreens as possible.
where appropriate i will try to get the files included upstream in
hal-info.

ciao
