Use of the XS-Vcs-bzr (or -git, ...) debian/control field

While going over Xorg packaging with Bryce, I recommended that he add the
XS-Vcs-* fields, but discovered that there didn't seem to be a central
location with published details on the fields.  The Debian Developers
References hasn't been spun again with the patch that documents the
changes.  I've duplicated the documentation into the Wiki[1] so I can
find it again in the future, and thought others might find this to be a
useful resource.
