2.6.20-10-server broken with LSI?

Since the Feisty kernel moved from 2.6.20-9 to 2.6.20-10 the server kernel 
no longer boots in a VMware VM. I've filed the following bug:

This is not related to VMI, VMI is not enabled in the guest. This may be 
an issue on real hardware with a LSI controller. Please let me know if 
there's more info you'd like me to update the bug with.
