What problems do you specificially have with respect to consolekit/gdm?
I've been testing consolekit and gdm (which has consolekit support
enabled in Debian by default) under Debian Sid, and it correctly
registers/unregisters sessions when logging in/out or switching a session
I also already tested a CK enabled hal, which should deal with
problems like automounting or power management, when multiple users are
logged in, and it seemed to work fine afair.
Cheers,
Michael
