Lintian and piuparts testing of Ubuntu

The failure log for im-switch reveals a real bug, and I've reported
#176660.

I noticed the piuparts tests include dapper -> gutsy -> hardy upgrades.
Since dapper -> gutsy is not a supported upgrade path, is there any plan
to run separate dapper -> hardy and gutsy -> hardy upgrade tests in the
future (once hardy is a bit more stable, perhaps)?
