dpkg triggers for ldconfig

The new triggers functionality in dpkg seems to be working reasonably
well and is already saving us some runs of update-initramfs. (I'm
going to have initramfs-tools trigger itself in its own postinst to
improve this a bit further, to reduce the calls from two per upgrade
to one per upgrade.)
I've been assured that a delayed or missed run of ldconfig is just a
performance problem and won't cause total breakage of the system. So
I propose to triggerise ldconfig, by replacing the PATH's ldconfig
with a wrapper script which (only when run from a maintainter script)
activates the trigger instead of running the real ldconfig.
If anyone has a reason for me not to do this please let me know ASAP :-).
Ian.
