The 20070411 series are candidate images for the Release Candidate
milestone. Please help test them!
Please check the test schedule at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Matrix
. It remains the same as the Beta schedule. It contains mainly distro
team members, but other experienced developers and testers are
encouraged to participate! Please contact me (heno on IRC to coordinate).
To administer the testing we have a new web-based system:
https://www.stgraber.org/ubuntu/isotesting
It's based on the concepts we used in the LP improvised version, but is
custom-made for this purpose. It should be a bit more intuitive and it
eliminates the need for a separate wiki page to track progress.
Please register at: https://www.stgraber.org/ubuntu/user/register
(no LP integration yet)
For each ISO image there will be a page containing the associated test
cases: https://www.stgraber.org/ubuntu/isotesting/test/1 and for each
test case there is a page where you can report results:
https://www.stgraber.org/ubuntu/isotesting/result/1/1
Just type in a comment (required) such as 'PASS' or more details if you
found issues with the ISO. You should file any bugs you find in Malone
in the usual way and simply link to them from the report page.
A bug can be classified as 'Normal' or 'Serious'. Mark it as 'Serious'
if you think it warrants fixing for RC. The release team will make the
final call on this and can change the setting, so if you are in doubt
select 'Serious'.
