How long will 64bit Ubuntu users have to wait?

| Exactly how many Ubuntu developers actually use the 64bit
| version. Not just have it installed, but use it?

I've been using it since it was started which was sometime before
Warty released.

| the catch 22 problem of the 64bit version not being good enough to use
| for some users, and we need users to make the 64bit version better?

People are, as always, free to help with patches and by writing good
specifications.
