I may have read the bug wrong but I also think they're going
to vet a set of patches and use of the trademark requires
"all or nothing" acceptance. So, Debian couldn't patch the
browser distributed in stable with a security fix unless
they also applied the rest of the vetted patch set (which is
counter to stable's remit).
