Ok, thanks for explaining! 
But still the question remains, do all these things work with standard
gnome network configuration tool? Wouldn't it be better to have NM at
least on the CD, so that users, who would benefit of NM (WPA, network
switching, ...) could use it? I know space is limited, but not offering
a GUI method to connect to an WPA network is also not the best idea,
isn't it?
