Bug #57502: JMicron chipset nog working. Will pach be included in Edy?

Hello Everyone,

I have a question regarding Bug #57502, where the JMicron chipset isn't
working. You can see on the launchpad page
(https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/57502) that Chuck Short sent
the patch for this problem. He backported the 2.6.18 patch to 2.6.17 so it
can be included in Edgy.

Knot 3 has just been released but according to some users (haven't tried
it myself yet) the problem isn't fixed yet, so I suppose the patch hasn't
been included yet.

Can anyone confirm that this patch will be included in Edgy? As you can
see from the launchpad page it affects a lot of people so this is quite a
problem.
