Enabling compositing manager for metacity

I've tried that recently. Metacity with composite manager was not
working fine on my desktop. It also requires to promoted libcm to main.
libcm has not ABI stability guaranty at the moment, linking metacity
with a library than can break compatibility without updating its soname
might not be a good idea.

Did you try metacity with composite manager? What is your opinion on it?
