move the ubuntu irc channels to jabber ?

Is this because xchat is harder to use, or because she doesn't like
changes of any sort? Personally I find traditional IM harder to use
(you can't just connect and talk, you need to register an account and
such), and change will be a problem whether it's aim->irc or aim->jabber
