Informal polls amongst ubuntu members/developers ?

Hi,

The current discussion about the non-free drivers is difficult to
follow, with a low signal-to-noise ratio. The fact that the discussion
mainly took place during UDS makes a lot of people think that they
didn't have the opportunity to express their thoughts.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to use a Launchpad poll to get a clearer
picture of what people think ? The ubuntumembers or ubuntu-dev groups
could be used for this. Launchpad doesn't seem to support Condorcet
voting which is a problem if we want to use more than 2 options, but a
2-options poll would probably do it.
