If some people a bit more enlightened than me can take a look at

refine / throw anything else that is often changed or should be changed,
that would be great.

My main focus is just getting the page-up and page-down buttons to by
default do a history search which would be very intuitive and useful for
users, along with have all terminals use a common, appended history file so
that way history searching works much better.
