Yes, you're right, I got the context wrong...  This can be a problem with
Nabble alerts which tells you when Squashfs has been discussed on a mailing
list, but only hours after the event, which leads to a lot of posts to scan
to see if the thread is of interest :-)

Notwithstanding my misunderstanding, what I said was still valid.  A number
of liveCDs use the Squashfs sort option to optimise boot performance.  In
fact, the option was added specifically for the Mandrake (as it was then)
based mklivecd project.

I'm always interested in real-life Squashfs performance analyses, as this
can sometimes suggest areas for filesystem optimisation.  If you get any
results, or have any suggestions as to improvements to the sort option (or
any other aspect), then please email me.
