Results: upgrade from Breezy using update-manager

My first notes on the upgrade of my home machine:

1. The layout of the update manager (in portuguese) seemed strange at times.
(I should have recorded a screenshot but didn't). It asked a few questions,
but there was not a 'yes/no' button - only a checkbox. I'll try to do it
again (on another PC) and record a screenshot this time.

2. I got dozens of messages complaining that the file 'pythn2.4-32.xpm' was
missing. I had a Python program (eric3) on my top panel, it seems that the
icon that was used there went missing during the upgrade.

3. It took a lot of time - 10h to download (over 1 GB of software over a 256
kbps connection) and 4h+ to upgrade. But things went fine.

4. My biggest complaint is something that many people don't value... the
screensaver. The switch to gnome-screensaver means that I can't preview or
configure screensavers. I miss part of the fun factor. I noticed it because
I'm used to checking the 'ant-spotlight' screensaver to see how many FPS am
I getting after an upgrade (important also so I can check if the driver is
performing as expected, etc.). The solution was to remove the
gnome-screensaver and to install the xscreensaver, so I could check it.
