The proximity of the release is part of the factors which define what
choices are "good" and which are "wrong". The relevant developers have
explained what these factors are on this thread, so now is the time to
accept the decision. Continuing this thread is simply wasting precious
time which the developers need to spend fixing bugs, so please END IT
HERE.
